Shanty Town

These photos were all taken at a little place that we have always called "shanty town." It is located in a certain draw somewhere in the Boise Front foothills. One can only find it if one already knows where it is. Or if you use the public hiking/biking trails in the area and stumble upon it. Anyway, it was apparently an old mining operation turned junkyard of cool/creepy old stuff. There used to be a whole lot more junk but apparently someone is now living there and has cleaned much of it out. Here is a sample of what's left.

This thing was attached to the back of an old truck. Must have been some sort of old drilling something or other.

An old truck, in case that wasn't apparent.

A different old truck. It's hard to tell but there is a bunch of wasps in the headlight dealy. No nest, just a bunch or wasps crawling over something.

This was something. More than that I can not say.

I think it was an oven.

Pretty self explanatory. I photoshopped this one quite a bit. Let me know what you think(as if anyone besides Autum looks at this).
